Good practice in the International Doctoral School EIDUM
The aim of the International Doctoral School of the University of Murcia (EIDUM) is to organise activities and teaching contents specific to the doctoral studies of the programmes integrated in it.
EIDUM plans the offer of cross-cutting activities common to doctoral programmes attached to and inherent in research, personal and value-based training, in order for the academic and professional skills and knowledge approved in its doctoral programmes to be achieved.

Regarding temporary maternity and paternity leaves, at the last Steering Committee meeting of our school held on 3 March 2020 the following was approved under point 9:
"To include in all relevant documents that “recent maternity or paternity by the Doctoral student will be a reason to award him/her a temporary leave from the doctoral programme” and this shall be made public using all the necessary means"
