Maria Eugenia Ponce got a BSc in Optometry and a MSc. in Economics at the University of Murcia. He has enjoyed several scholarships in training cooperation with the Third World. He has published several articles in international journals in Optometry and has presented several time results in international scientific conferences. Currently, she is working as a professional Optometry and Contact Lenses in Palmas de Gran Canaria (Canary Islands, Spain).
