3rd Plenary Meeting was held in Pisa. First results of Meta-analysis were discussed. Methodological approach to select indicators to measure the efectiveness of MPAs was introduced. WP6 leader explained the steps to achieve the objectives of this WP.

• EMPAFISh project was presented at the VII Foro de Pesca "Valentin Paz Andrade" (22 March 2006, Vigo, Spain) organized By "Fundacion Caixa Galicia" in collaboration with the magazine " Industris Pesqueras". In this forum the importance of the marine reserves as tools of fisheries management was discussed.
