The research user status is intended to meet the demands of those citizens who are accredited researchers and need to temporarily use our services. It is necessary to be a graduate of any Spanish university. In those cases in which the user does not have a university degree, the Library will study in detail the convenience of granting this status.
Those users who are studying for a doctorate at the University of Murcia are excluded from this condition, as they have a specific card.
Duration: 2 years
They will not be issued with a special ID card, so they will have to identify themselves with their ID card or with their Foreigner's Identification Number (NIE).
Documentation required for obtaining the researcher user status:
- Photocopy of your ID card
- Photocopy of the diploma or bachelor's degree if you are a former student of the University of Murcia, or of the bachelor's degree if you obtained the degree at another University
- Cover letter from a Director of a Centre or Department of the UMU. (If the letter is from a lecturer, it must be approved by the Director of the Centre or Department)
