Complementos formativos Doctorado en Biodiversidad y Gestión Ambiental

The recommended admission profile explicitly includes university graduates with academic and scientific curricula related to the scope of knowledge of the Doctoral Programme in Biodiversity and Environmental Management (Biology, Environmental Sciences, Marine Sciences, Pharmacy, Geography, Geology, Chemistry, Veterinary, Agro-environmental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Geological Engineering, Chemical Engineering...).

Those graduates will usually have a master's degree (requirement to access the Doctoral Programme) appropriate to those access profiles and with the scope of knowledge of the doctoral programme.

Students must attend complementary training if they do not have a master's degree related to Biology, Environmental Sciences, Marine Sciences, Pharmacy, Geography, Geology, Chemistry, Veterinary, Agro-environmental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Geological Engineering or Chemical Engineering.

Complementary training will never exceed a workload of 18 ECTS.

The Academic Commission will establish the necessary training complements that each particular student must complete at the same time as his/her doctoral studies. This complementary training will consist of specific subjects from the following masters’ degree programmes: Management of Diversity in Mediterranean Environments, Management of Living Aquatic Resources and Aquaculture, Sustainable Use and Soil Protection, Technology. Water Administration and Management, Forensic Science, Ecopathology of Wildlife and its Implications in Animal Health and Public Health or, exceptionally, other masters’ degrees available at the University of Murcia. The achievement of the complementary training credits assigned by the Academic Commission to each student will be an essential requirement for the approval of his/her thesis project.
