Complementos formativos Doctorado en Salud, Discapacidad, Dependencia y Bienestar (Interuniversitario)

The Academic Committee will establish the necessary and specific training complements in relation to the access profile in each particular case, taking into account that accrediting knowledge in research methodology is essential.

The Academic Committee understands that the need for training complements to ensure successful doctoral studies is limited to training in research methodology whenever students have not taken Master's degree studies that specifically include that kind of training.

Students who come from degrees not giving direct access to the programme must take up to 15 credits of content included in subjects of different master's degrees closely related to the doctoral programme. The subjects will be determined by the Academic Committee according to the research line the doctoral thesis to be developed is framed in. The following subjects are some of them:

  • Research methodology. Master’s Degree in Disability and Dependency (University Da Coruña. 9 ECTS.
  • Biometry and research methodology. Master's Degree in Healthy Aging and Quality of Life (University of León). 6 ECTS.
  • Evaluation and Rating of Functionality and Damage. Master's Degree in Physiotherapy in the Neurological Approach of Children and Adults. University of Murcia. 6 ECTS.
  • Measurement, design and analysis in Alzheimer dementia. Evaluation of programmes. Master's Degree in Intervention for People with Alzheimer's Disease (University of Salamanca). 3 ECTS.
