The European Research Projects Office of the Universidad de Murcia (Operum) is organising a Seminar for the preparation of R&D&I projects addressing the EU Horizon 2020 programme.

This seminar is aimed at Research and Teaching Staff (PDI) of the University of Murcia who are participating or are interested in actively participating in Horizon 2020, the European R&D&I Programme.

These sessions will focus on the preparation of proposals within Horizon 2020. The most important aspects that make R&D&I projects successful will be dealt with. Some of these aspects are: scientific state of the art, industrial state of the art, impact identification, European approach, market-oriented projects, financial aspects, etc.

Aims:

  • To make UMU researchers and technicians aware of how their R&D&I projects fit into H2020.
  • To provide attendees with techniques for the preparation of successful proposals within this new programme.
  • To provide attendees with the new quality criteria of H2020, its strategic priorities and success factors for preparing and drafting competitive proposals.
  • To avoid the most common errors in the drafting of innovative European proposals and reinforce tips for success.
  • Successful cases and good practices will be presented.

This seminar will be divided into two sessions: 

Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 March in the Aula Didáctica of the CSU (University Social Centre) of the University of Murcia and with an approximate duration of 13 hours (1st day: 9:30 - 14:30 and 15:30 - 18:30 and the 2nd day: 9:30 - 14:30)
