Master MSC IN PHYSICS
Next year will start a MSC. in Physics at the University of Murcia.
The Master will focus on the following areas of physics: theoretical physics and astrophysics, optics and condensed matter. It will be taught in English. The title will allow students to enroll in doctoral studies.
About Department of physics
We are a department with a high profile for research, covering a wide range of topics, including optics, condensed matter theory and experiment, theoretical physics and astrophysics, atmospheric sciences and applied physics.
The department is encharged of teaching most subjects in the undergraduate degree in Physics, as well as introductory physics courses in the degrees of Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineer, Enviromental Sciences and Veterinary.
The department has almost thirty permanent members and about twenty postdoctoral and Ph.D. students in most areas of physics. The majority of its members and the research laboratories are located in the Research Center for Optics and Nanosciences (CIOyN) and the rest in the Faculty of Chemistry.
Complex Quantum Systems Out Of Equilibrium 2019
The conference will focus on the following topics: electron glasses, many-body localization, metal-insulator and superconductor-insulator transitions, topological insulators, transport in nanoparticle assemblies, and disorder and interaction in cold atoms, among others.
