International Symposium

Interplay of p-Block and Organometallic Chemistry

IpBOC-23

that will be held in Murcia (Spain) on March 12-15, 2023.

Registration: The registration web site can now be accessed at the “Casiopea” platform used by the University of Murcia (usually abbreviated as UM or UMU):

https://casiopea.um.es/cursospe/interplayof.f.

You will have to deal with a first welcoming page in Spanish. In the box at the right side, you will see the three options (you don’t need anything else):

Matrícula… abierta (= registration … open)
Consulte su solicitud (= check your application)
Secretaría Virtual (= Virtual Secretary)

After clicking at any of them (start by doing the registration process at the first option) Spanish & British flags are shown, to select the language. From this point all consecutive web pages should have a translation into English. Hopefully you can manage to get up to the end. For payment, among other options the use of a credit (or debit) bank card is offered. Please inform me if you face any problem.

Registration fees: 270 €, to be paid following the indications in the online registration process through Casiopea). Lunch and dinner for both Monday and Tuesday are included, as well as visits to wineries on Tuesday.

Accommodation and venue: Hotel Rincón de Pepe which is well situated downtown very close to the cathedral square. Accommodation fees are roughly 225 € (breakfast and taxes included) for the three-night period. Please send an e-mail to universidaddemurcia@viajeseci.es, with the subject “Hotel booking for the IpBOC symposium” and indicate the days you want to reserve (and number of people, in case). You will receive back details for payment and a link for proceeding online. Unfortunately, you will be directed to a only Spanish web page for payment, where you have to choose the fourth option (“Tarjeta de crédito o débito” = Credit or debit bank card).

Schedule:

* Monday 13th, scientific session with oral presentations taking place at the hotel. Symposium dinner.
