Jorge Martinez is a RN the National University of Colombia, has been dedicated to the adult intensive care (15 years). He began as a professor of clinical simulation in El Bosque University, also affiliated to other universities at the same time, for 10 years He has been director of the clinical simulation center (CMAPs) and since 1 year is the director of virtual education center (e-Sanitas) of Sanitas University of Bogota, Colombia. Jorge finished his Masters in information technologies applied to education in the Pedagogical University of Colombia, developed a research project on training of working memory in computer learning environments. Graduate as an Instructor of Simulation of “The Center for Medical Simulation of Harvard Medical School.” He’s currently a last year student of the Education PhD of Pedagogical University of Colombia, it develops a research project about the relationship of promoting metacognitive self-monitoring in virtual environments with academic achievement and stylistic differences in college students. In this time, until December 2014, He’s in research internship in GITE (Murcia University) under direction of Dr. Linda Castañeda. He’s recognized as a pragmatist-experimental-analytical research, believer of scientific evidence in education and He’s open to the integration of all perspectives to solve the problems of education.
