Enrique Pravia-Sarabia

Physics graduate and MSc in Big Data at University of Murcia. Acquired programming skills and, more profoundly, data analysis and processing abilities. He has a brief working experience in the business sector as a trainee. During this period, he developed machine learning algorithms in different areas, such as the energetic sector or the Forex market. Its main essays, which have been elaborated in the context of the Degree and Master thesis, consist on the numerical simulation of surface gravity waves on shallow waters, and the creation of an algorithm for the diagnosis of visual abnormal conditions from EEG signals. This background is complemented with the direct and transverse competences acquired in the Physics Degree. He is currently part of the MAR group as a PhD student, addressing the study of medicanes (Mediterranean tropical-like cyclones) by means of data analysis techniques and its integration into the climate sciences paradigm.
