Gregorio J. Molina-Cuberos

Dr. Molina Gregorio Molina Cuberos received the M.S and PhD degrees in physics from the University of Granada, Granada Spain, in 1994 and 1998, respectively. He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Department of Experimental Space Research, Space Research Institute, Graz, Austria and researcher at the Instituto de Astrofisica de Andalucia and University of Granada, both in Granada, Spain. Now he had a permanent position at the Department of Electromagnetism and Electronic, University of Murcia, Spain, and was head of this Department during several years. His current research interests include a high variety of fields like planetary atmospheres, material science and biology. He has been involved in several instruments on board space missions, like HASI on Huygens, MaRS on MarsExpress or MicroAres instrument on board ExoMars 2016. He is presently leading a research project on Metamaterials (involving three Universities) and he is part of a BIODIVERSA Project dealing marine reserves by modelling the lower ionosphere of Mars. He has supervised pre and post PhD students and directed fellows involved in both space physics (Radio Science Experiment on board MarsExpress or MicroAres on board ExoMars 2016) and electromagnetism (metamaterials and chiral media).
