Ramon Ramon-Muñoz

Profesor agregado de historia económica en la Universidad de Barcelona. Doctor por el Instituto Universitario Europeo (Florencia), su investigación incluye preferentemente temas relacionados con el comercio internacional de productos mediterráneos, los clusters de empresas y el nivel de vida biológico durante los siglos XIX y XX. Premiado por la the Asociación Española de Historia Econòmica (AEHE), ha publicado una cuarentena de artículos y capítulos de libro, muchos de ellos en editoriales y revistas de prestigio, como la editorial Routledge o las revistas Business History, Enterprise & Society,  The History of the Family o Revista de Historia Industrial. También ha participado en una quincena de proyectos de investigación competitivos y en diversos proyectos de innovación docente, y ha co-organizado diversas sesiones de congresos y encuentros de historia económica. Actualmente es Delegado del Rector para las Relaciones Internacionales y la Calidad de la Facultad de Economía y Empresa de la Universidad de Barcelona. También es miembro electo del Consejo de Dirección de la AEHE.

PhD from the European University Institute (Florence) with a dissertation which was awarded by the Spanish Association of Economic History (AEHE). He is Associate Professor in Economic History at the University of Barcelona, and his research interests include international trade in Mediterranean agricultural products over the long-run, clusters and regional development in Southern Europe since the mid-19th century and biological living standards in Iberia in the 19th and 20th centuries. On these topics, he has published some forty articles and book chapters, many of them included in well-known journals, such as Business History, Enterprise & Society, The History of the Family or Revista de Historia Industrial, as well as in renowned book publishers, such as Routledge. He has also participated in some fifteen competitive research projects and in several teaching innovation projects, and has co-organized several conference sessions and economic history meetings. He is currently Rector’s Delegate for International Relations and Quality at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Barcelona. He is also elected member of the Direction Board of the AEHE.
