Welcome to Antonio Giménez Reillo's academic website at the University of Murcia. I have been a lecturer in the Area of Arabic and Islamic Studies at the University of Murcia since 2006 and this site is aimed at providing students enrolled in my courses with further resources to supplement the classroom instruction, as well as giving other students and faculty members a taste of these subjects.

Currently Arabic is taught as an elective subject for graduate students of the Faculty of Arts.

Biography

I hold a MA in Arabic Studies from the University of Seville and have lectured in Spanish at the Bourguiba Institute of Modern Languages, University of Tunis, from 1996 to 1999, then at the School of International Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamic Republic of Iran, from 1999 to 2000. I am also a sworn translator of Arabic, certified by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and have worked for the Andalusian Agency for International Cooperation as an Arabic and French translator and webmaster.
