GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION

20-minute presentations and poster sessions are welcome from a range of subfields, including:

- corpus-based computational linguistics
- corpus-based historical linguistics
- corpus linguistics and linguistic theory
- corpus creation, software development, annotation, tagging and parsing
- corpus-based language research: semantics, lexicology and phraseology
- corpus-based language research: orthography and phonology
- corpus-based language research: morphology and syntax
- corpus-based language research: stylistics and sociolinguistics
- corpus-based language research: discourse analysis and pragmatics
- applications of corpora in language teaching
- applications of corpora in translation
- applications of corpora in lexicography

 

Those wishing to participate should provide the following information by 31st January 2009:

1) Information about the author:
name of the author/s, institutional affiliation, e-mail and telephone number

2) Information about the paper:
title, type of presentation (paper/poster), AV needs (data projector, internet connection…) and abstract (100-200 words)

3) A file with the title and the full text of the presentation (only for 20-minute papers). Author information must be omitted and files will be named after the title. Please ensure that the whole file does not exceed 7000 words, including references.

The information about the author and the title of the presentation will be typed using the electronic app. As for the rest of the data, they shall be included in the file with the text of the presentation.

Proposals will be peer-reviewed by members of the Programme Committee and the authors will receive an e-mail with the acceptance/rejection of their papers.
