The main focus of our current research is:

• Development of metal-based anticancer agents for combating cancer resistance (J. Med. Chem. 2015; ChemMedChem 2018).
• Design of theranostic agents based on d6 luminescent metal complexes (Chem. Comm., 2017; Chem. Comm., 2016).
• Synthesis of photosensitizers based on metal complexes for photodynamic therapy (Chem. Eur. J. 2018).
• Using nanoplatforms for drug delivery and precise targeting (Dalton 2015).
• Study of the mode of action of anticancer drugs at both molecular and cellular levels (Chem. Commun. 2018, ACS Chem. Biol. 2017).
