Dr. Antonio Caballero
Dr. Antonio Caballero was born in Murcia, Spain, in 1976. He graduated with a degree in chemistry from the University of Murcia in 2001, and he obtained his Ph.D. in 2007 under the supervision of Profs. Pedro Molina and Alberto Tárraga. In 2009, he moved to the University of Oxford (U.K.) as a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow (2009−2011) and in 2011 worked as a postdoctoral research assistant under the supervision of Prof. Paul D. Beer. In 2012, he obtained a Ramon y Cajal contract from the Government of Spain to work at the University of Murcia. Currently, Antonio is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Organic Chemistry at the University of Murcia. His research interests are focused on the development of new anion sensors by unconventional noncovalent interactions.

Dr. Amparo Velasco López de los Mozos
Dr. Amparo Velasco is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Organic Chemistry. She is currently working in the synthesis and study of new receptors through chalcogen bond
Dr. Fabiola Zapata
Fabiola Zapata was born in Murcia, Spain, in 1977. She graduated with a degree in chemistry from the University of Murcia in 2004, and she obtained her Ph.D. in 2009 under the supervision of Prof. Pedro Molina and Dr. Antonio Caballero. In 2009, she gained a postdoctoral grant from the Goverment of Spain to work under the supervision of Prof. Paul D. Beer at the University of Oxford (U.K.). In 2012, she obtained a Juan de la Cierva contract from the Goverment of Spain to work at the University of Murcia. On June 2021 Fabiola Zapata obtained the position of Permanent Professor (Profesora Contratada Doctora) at the University of Murcia. Her research interests are focused on the development of new anion sensors by unconventional noncovalent interactions.

José Luis Esquivel
José Luis Esquivel was born in Mexico City. He studied the degree in Chemistry at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, in 2012 he graduated with honors. In 2015, he obtained a scholarship from the Carolina Foundation which allowed him to move to Spain and course the Master in Chemical Science and Technology at the University of the Balearic Islands. He is currently a Predoctoral Researcher at the University of Murcia, his Thesis is focuses on the formation of anion induced supramolecular polymers.
José Joaquín Gómez Jiménez
José Joaquín Gómez Jimenez, better known as "J" graduated in chemistry at 2013. Later he worked in various companies in the fields of polymers, cosmetics and perfumery. In October 2020 he decided to join our research group to carry out his Doctoral Thesis. He is currently his research fielf is focused in the development of new supramolecular polymers induced by the action of anions.
Elena Soler Lorca
Elena Soler Lorca carried out her Final Degree Project in our research group in the academic year 18/19. Later she joined the company Optimiza Protective and Consulting with which our group maintains research contracts. Elena is doing a doctorate in our group in collaboration with Optimiza Protective and Consulting on issues related to the development of new coatings.
