PALEOLINK WORKSHOP
A JOINT EFFORT TO BRING TOGETHER GCM, RCM AND PROXY COMMUNITIES

The Paleolink workshop aimed at bringing experts in both climate modelling and reconstruction communities. We encouraged presentations evaluating and developing new downscaling strategies that allows linking coarse ESM simulations with climate reconstructions. Both dynamical and statistical approaches to downscaling were considered, as well as novel combinations of both, including the use of forward models.

The workshop was organised by the MAR group of the University of Murcia, and held in the city of Murcia (Spain).
